Ruth Seyffert, a professional reborn artist from Ontario, Canada, is the owner of Blessed Baby Creations. She is well-known for taking custom orders and her goal is to create beautiful reborn babies that people love and cherish forever.
All dolls created by Ruth are reborned through many layers of Genesis heat set paints to create the most realistic-looking skin tone possible, including veining, darkened creases and skin mottling. This high-quality paint ensures the stability of the color and texture. Ruth uses tiny glass beads and polyfil to fill the doll in order to give her reborn babies similar weight and squeezable touch, like those of a real baby. The combination of glass and polyfil creates a cuddly feeling and comfortable touch when holding it.
Ruth Seyffert uses premium mohair and implements the micro hand-rooting technique when creating the reborn dolls hair. The eyelashes of her sleeping reborns are also hand-rooted and match their hair colour. For awake babies, the wispy eyelashes are carefully glued to the eyelid, highlighting the glass eyes, that present colour of choice of the customer.
For her, each reborn doll is created to be loved, admired and cherished. It’s not a toy to be intended for children to play with.
