Pigott’s Playpen
Jorja Pigott is a sculpting artist, based in North Carolina, in the United States. She started her reborning career in 2005 and very quickly established herself as a very talented artist. She mentions that this art has been for her a chance to revive and treasure her childhood memories and feelings. After a couple of years reborning, Jorja started thinking more and more about sculpting some babies herself, but it was not until February 2009, when the reborn market slowed down due to the economy, that she decided to learn how to sculpt and found her real passion in this new art.
Jorja Pigott has become a well-known professional reborn baby sculptor . She loves sculpting babies and shows her passion for accuracy and detail as she is continuously trying to improve her prototypes and achieve the most realistic expression or pose.
She confesses to feel great pride and self-fulfillment when seeing a piece of clay become a sweet little baby, especially knowing that she sculpted it herself. Her goal with the sculpting process is to capture and share, in each and every one of her sculpts, those precious little expressions and adorable features found in the beauty and innocence of real babies. Jorja believes that one of the most important awards for any sculpting artist is to know that the reborn collector feels proud to own their sculpt.
